| In 2001 my father and I decided we were going to enter the real estate rental business. Already being in business in the area Phil came highly recommended. Philomena was able to quickly identify potential properties that fit our criteria. Where she became indispensable was teaching us how to play the game. For a couple of rookies this was priceless. Anyone can email you a few MLS listings and make an offer on your behalf, but Philomena would spend countless hours walking the properties with us and making suggestions all along. This showed us that she really cares about her clients. This is all the more impressive when you keep in mind these are properties that we are buying at very deep discounts, for various reasons, therefore the commissions for the realtor are minimal at best. She still was more interested in building the relationship than cashing in on one big sale. If I had to guess I would say we bought 20 to 25 homes this way.
Fast forward several years later we chose to slow down and manage the portfolio we had rather than add to it. My wife and I had located a piece of property that we wanted to build on so naturally we had to sell our existing home. Without thinking twice I called Philomena. All I need to say is that she sold our house for asking price within a week of listing it in one of the worst real estate markets in decades. She spent more time doing all the preparation to list it, photos, videos, etc. than it took to sell. For all of the above reasons I am quick to refer Philomena anytime someone asks who I suggest as a realtor. |
